The Steel Dancer is the embodiment of the phrase “the best defense is a good offense.” The core of this build is to intentionally clash your rapid Dual Blade attacks with incoming enemy strikes. This allows you to negate damage, deal your own, and build up stagger simultaneously. Your survivability doesn’t come from dodging or heavy armor, but from the constant health regeneration provided by the Leech Temperance, which is highly effective due to your fast attack speed.

Your secondary weapon, the Firearm Blades, serves as a reliable ranged option. The entire build is a high-octane dance of aggression, resource management, and timing, perfect for players who love to stay on the offensive.

Your primary weapon is the Twin Bandits. Its Block Weapon Skill is not just for defense; a successful block generates Skyborn Might, which you will spend on the powerful Blademaster Discipline. The Firearm Blades are your backup for ranged damage and situations where you can’t immediately swap back to your main weapon.

This build uses different Benedictions for each weapon to maximize efficiency:

  • For Twin Bandits: Blocking Clash is essential to increase the potency of your main mechanic. Combo Force boosts your relentless attacks, and Skyborn Vigor adds a layer of defense.
  • For Firearm Blades: Since this is a backup weapon, defensive and utility Benedictions like Skyborn Ward and Backstab Rejuvenation are more effective.

Like the Arcane Spellblade, this build uses a Light Armor setup focused on non-physical resistances. The Embroidered Headband, Junior Maid’s Garment, Bridal Shackles, and Bridal Dress offer good protection against spells and status effects. Feel free to swap pieces based on the encounter.

  • Dragonling Pendant & Eagle Pendant: A powerful combination for boosting the damage of all your attacks.
  • Twin Infant Pendant: This is a mandatory pendant for the build. The constant attacking and clashing will drain your stamina, and this pendant’s recovery is crucial to maintain your offensive pressure.

This build’s progression is focused on unlocking Clash potential and stamina.

  1. Unlock Blademaster: This is your primary damage-dealing Discipline skill. Rush to it in the Dual Blades tree.

  2. Invest in Endurance: On your way to Blademaster, pick up as many Endurance nodes as possible. Your survivability and ability to attack relentlessly depend on a large stamina pool.

  3. Get Swift Blade and Stat Nodes: After Blademaster, unlock Swift Blade and other passives that increase your attack speed and damage. Invest heavily in stat nodes that scale your Dual Blades.

  4. Finalize with Utility: As a final step, take Energetic and other nodes from the general Utility Path for more stamina regeneration and survivability.

This is a fluid, reactive build without a strict rotation. The goal is to maintain pressure and heal through damage.

  1. Imbue with Leech: Always start an encounter by using Temperance to apply the Bone Needle - Leech buff to your Dual Blades.

  2. Attack and Clash: Stay close to the enemy and attack relentlessly. Your goal is to intentionally hit them as they are hitting you to trigger a Clash.

  3. Use Block Defensively: If you’re unsure about a Clash timing, use the Block Weapon Skill. A successful block will negate damage, create an opening, and generate valuable Skyborn Might.

  4. Spend Might on Blademaster: Use the Skyborn Might you’ve generated to unleash the Blademaster Discipline for a high-damage flurry that also benefits from your Leech buff.

  5. Use Charged Attacks to Close Gaps: Your charged heavy attack propels you forward, making it an excellent tool for closing the distance to an enemy.
